In school, as a form of organization marked by physical activities, sports is an indispensable means of education. Its main purpose is not only to enhance their physique, improve sports skills and levels, meanwhile, sports is still in its own various functions shouldering the moral, intellectual, aesthetic education tasks etc. with other education means in parallel.As a subject, aesthetic education is the result of crossover and infiltration between aesthetics and education and also called aesthetic education or education of aesthetic perception. It is a generalized education that features the integrating of education and entrainment through artistic beauty and realistic beauty (including the social beauty and natural beauty), to cultivate temperament and improve artistic accomplishment and aesthetic ability of the viewers, thus making educatees achieve cultivation and improvement in personality formation and perfect and in promoting artistic accomplishment cognition and sublimating moral sentiment. It is an intuitive emotional experience to the aesthetic target, which is taken in a completely free way without any constraint, and the education is realized in subtle influence.Sports and aesthetic education are important parts of the education teaching, the relation of which is not a simple addition, but mutual confluence. In the sports teaching, emphasis on aesthetic education can enhance sports teaching effects. In order to better expand physical and aesthetic education means and their educational functions, this study is based on the conformity and development of aesthetic needs in physical training of university students in Chengdu, making a research on the present situation of the aesthetic needs in physical training of university students in Chengdu. Through empirical methods, existing problems in sports teaching are to be mastered and some countermeasures for the sports teaching are to put forward, so as to provide new reform references for the development of sports teaching and aesthetics teaching.Many researches on sports and aesthetic education have been done, however, few is made from the current situation and development of students'own needs. The thesis is based on the sample survey of "the university teachers and students in Chengdu ", and uses literature methodology, access method, the education of observation, questionnaire investigation, and mathematical statistics research method etc. The research focuses on the present situation of integration between sports and aesthetic education of universities in Chengdu, the sports aesthetic effects on teachers'and the students'cognition and the students' problems in the current situation and development of aesthetics demands. University students in Chengdu have high expectations and sports aesthetic behaviors. Sports aesthetic education exists certain project selections and gender differences. Under the existing conditions of the sports teaching, it is a good guidance for student's sports teaching and aesthetic consciousness training when the universities physical teachers are in accordance with the needs of students'current situation and development.
