Research Of Problems And Countermeasures In Building Up The Core Values Of Contemporary Universities

The development of universities have scored notable achievements over sixty years'theoretical exploration and practical reform since the foundation of People's Republic of China. University education has stepped into the stage of popularization since more and more people are able to enjoy the high quality educational resources. Besides, Universities have provided a large number of high-quality talents for our society which lays a solid foundation for the realization of the strategic objectives, namely, powerful country with talented personnel; transformed achievements in scientific research of universities which have greatly promoted the development of social productivity. However, there are a series of problems of universities accompanied with its achievements, especially in nowadays, for universities are facing the problems of chaotic values, misplaced values, expired values and even twisted values, what's worse, universities'further development encounters unprecedented bottleneck. In a word, how to break through the bottleneck and find the way out of the universities'development becomes a pressing task, and the core value of contemporary universities is supposed to come up under this situation.The purpose of the present paper is to summarize the core values of contemporary universities and explore the difficulties of it and come up with countermeasures. To be in details, the first chapter introduces research background and significance and present the author's ideas; the second chapter served as theoretical origin, interpretates value,core values,universities values and its core values relates to the paper. the third chapter describes the reason for construction of the core values of contemporary universities, and establishes the core values of contemporary universities from social and self aspect; the fourth chapter analyzes the difficulties of contemporary universities' construction, namely, not only external difficulties of economics,politics,society and culture, but also internal difficulties of universities themselves; the fifth chapter gives a detailed description of how to breakthrough the difficulties of the construction for contemporary universities from the aspects of government, society and universities. The conclusion part summarizes the research contents and proposes research prospects.
