The Study On The Core Values And Contemporary Value Of Chinese University Motto

Value is the general view of the society,the thing and the people,which embodies a kind of value orientation and value pursuit,and it has a great influence on the direction of social development and the choice of the individual.Therefore,it is of great significance to carry forward and practice values education in the contemporary social background.College students are the hope of the nation and the country,they are in the period of the formation and establishment of values.In this critical period,it is particularly important to strengthen the values education of College Students.University Motto embodies a school through the ages,and it is the dominant values of the university out of the table.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the importance of the school motto,so that the values advocated by the school motto can really go into the hearts of the students,and become the spiritual wealth of a student who is going out of school into the community and so as to affect his life.This paper aims to start from the core values of the university motto,usingliterature research method,for example,the method of induction and the law of the selected part of the university motto of a detailed analysis and exploration.First of all,from the meaning of the school motto,explains the definition of a variety of dictionaries and domestic scholars on the motto.And the concept of the core values of the definition and understanding of the motto of the core values,which is the motto in a series of values,with stable characteristics,value orientation can play a dominant and leading role in the overall process.Then through the part of the university motto of historical understanding,found that the college motto is special,the era of relative stability,the characteristics of the language is concise and value oriented,and dig out the essence of the motto of the university that highlight the value of the pursuit of advocating the rigorous scientific attitude and improve the moral quality of students.And based on the part of the college motto on the content,summed up the core value of school motto has,is the unremitting self-improvement,social commitment,strive for perfection,innovation and practice.These five values are important to the development of our correct values,which are needed by our contemporary society and individuals.However,the core values of the university motto is a slow process,which is a subtle process.To solve this problem,this paper attempts from the theory,society,school,family and individual level to strengthen ties,attach importance to the motto of the core values of propaganda,strengthen the personal motto of the core values of acceptance and practice ability.Finally it focuses on the core values of the university motto to ourenlightenment,from the economic,political,social,cultural and ecological five aspects,the paper describes five core value orientation of contemporary value of us,to carry forward the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation in China and build a harmonious and beautiful ecological environment is very important role.This paper put the China's emphasis on education and talents as the background,cultivating the correct values as the main content,in order to research and practice correct values in a variety of ways,to provide good protection for the construction of China's socialist core values and the "five in one".The future construction of the motherland needs talent,the need for excellent college students,college administrators should be clear about their responsibilities,social and family should also strengthen the guiding role,students should also pay attention to the practice of the school motto.
