Firstly, the family is the starting point of the outlook on life education. The outlook on life education is always the important part of the family education and the family education laid the foundation of the individual outlook on life. Secondly, the outlook on life education of family is continued. The family education is not only lasting for a life time but also being inherited. Thirdly, family and school education in the outlook on life is complementary. In the education content, family focus on problems in life and the school focuses on theory education; in the education method, there are also many differences between family and school education. Fourthly, family education can regulate the impaction of society. The society plays an important role in the college students'outlook on life in the economic field, social and ideological politics field and so on. Yet, family education regulates the development direction of the individual outlook on life at the same time and can strengthen or weaken society's impaction.There are three main ways that family education effects of college students' outlook on life. Family education goals affect the college students' life purpose; family education mode affects the college students' attitude towards life; family background affects the college students'life values. Family education goals can be roughly divided into four types: glorifing and illuminating the ancestors, developing career direction, free development and not setting clear goals. Among them, the type of free development can help children building correct life purpose. Family education mode can be roughly divided into five types:demanding achievements, simple and crude, regardless, indulgence and being mentors. The last one is the most ideal education mode, and can help children building positive attitude towards life.
