Individual spirit includes rationality and irrationality. Irrationality is inner driving force of one's development; inexhaustible energy of one's life, effective guidance and training of which is essential meaning for the development of individual life. For the social development, irrationality, which has power, safeguard and support function, is an indispensable part. For teaching, irrationality is a major component of teaching power, a effective complement of teaching logic and an important index of teaching goal.The school education should pay equal attention to rationality and irrationality, develop complete and healthy students'individualities, pursuit people's lifelong development. However, in our country, rationality and irrationality are unequal in education structure. Rationality education whose main factor is Intellectual education occupies the absolute advantage position, while irrational education is marginalized and neglected. Education performance are decreased and alienated. Educational integrity is a premise for a person. Instructional theory must give an important role to irrationality. Construct a new instructional theory system where rationality and irrationality are banlanced. the basic implementation way to which is to guide and cultivate irrational effective teaching.The paper has four parts. The first is the introduction, mainly elaborating the significance and methods and summarizing the research literatures. The practice significance of the research is to balance the rational education and irrational education; theoretical significance lies in enriching irrational education and the teaching research. The main research methods are qualitative research, the literature research and experience research, which are decided by the nature of the irrationality. This research systematically summarizes our country's present situation and existing problems of the irrational researches in the irrational teaching, its education research and irrational teaching researches. The second part is about the irrational in teaching, mainly introducing and discussing several concepts:four features of the Irrational, the relations and distinctions between Individual and group irrational, emphasizing that the individual irrational research is the goal. Through further clarifying the differences between irrationality in teaching and the one in philosophy, we clarify the irrational and irrational behaviors, irrationality and non-intelligence factors, irrationality and three-dimensional teaching target and define irrational boundaries in this study. The third part is about the value of the irrational. Through discussing the value of irrationality in individual development, social development and teaching, we stress the necessity, urgency and necessity of the irrational research. The fourth part is about guiding and cultivating irrational effective teaching, which is the main content of this study. The teaching aim, teaching content, teaching method and teaching process of the guiding and cultivating irrational effective teaching are discussed to construct a relatively complete corresponding theoretical system. There are essential differences between theory of Guiding and cultivating irrational effective teaching and other teaching theory, but they are definitely associated with each other. The theory of Guiding and cultivating irrational effective teaching is a part of the whole structure of teaching theory.In a word, the guiding and cultivating irrational effective teaching research is an indispensable part, an important factor of the modern teaching theory and the inevitable way to realize educational overall value. At present, in Chinese Education teaching, the level of valuing, studying and practicing irrationality is far from meeting the demand of the individual and social development, which is not only related to the integrity of the education, but the integrity of the people and a problem must be solved in contemporary harmonious society.
