It is a good chance for the development of the Chinese mass sports that the Olympic Games will be held in BeiJing in 2008.It becomes an important issue to be urgently resolved for the sports workers how to hold the chance to get the Chinese mass sports more reasonable and standard.The platform and carrier to run the mass sports is the various projects of bodybuilding so the good construction and management of every platform will play a supporting role for the development of the mass sports.The football is "the first sport of the world" and it appeals to the mass in china.And the relatively poor lever of Chinese athletic football does not prevent the mass from liking and loving the football.The amateur football activities are held in the every corner of China and these activities are characterized by a distinctive local style because of the distinct difference and cultural difference.The studies of the activities are significantly important for the development of the amateur football activities.The amateur football activities are the important way of sports and bodybuilding.With the deeply development of the bodybuilding movement of the whole people and the rapid development of the national economy,the bodybuilding movement appears many new characteristics.As the first sport of the world,the football has a widespread mass foundation and it has taken on a trend of vigorous development in many provinces in China.The past 30 years' economic construction has made the Chinese economy as a whole list the fourth of the world,the people' lives influenced by many new ideas and values and the modern sports present a diversified development,all of which cause the present development of the Chinese amateur mass football activities to appear many new characteristics.In order to ensure a healthy and sustained development of this mass activity,this paper makes a study of the adult males in TaiYuan City who participate in the amateur football activities------it investigates the research subjects with the questionnaire and then makes a scientific classification,tests and analysis of the data obtained from the investigation with the sociological and statistic research methods.Finally,the paper draws a conclusion as the following:Ⅰ.The 26-35 years old,married males occupy the majority of the adult males in TaiYuan City who take part in the football activities,and their occupations are relatively various and most of them possess the moderate incomes and higher academic attainments.Ⅱ.The motivations of the adult males who participate in the football activities are various.Ⅲ.As for the sports consumption,it takes on a trend of positive polarization.Ⅳ.The main reason of restricting the adult males from participating in the football activities is the low income and limited leisure time of the subjects. In addition,the unhealthy life style of the subjects is another important factor.Ⅴ.The factors study and analysis shows that the factors affecting the adult males in TaiYuan City to participate in the football activities in sequence are the social class,the time,the other's influence,the consumption,the organization and the motivation.Ⅵ.There's a lack of the correct instruction to the amateur football associations, organizations and clubs.The paper finally connects the theory with the facts,accords with the above conclusion, and then gives some reasonable advices on how to improve the amateur football activities in TaiYuan City in ShanXi Province more healthier and continually.
