| With the continuous development of manufacturing information, it has application in various fields. At present, manufacturing and management information technology have been applied and achieved good benefits in some domestic large and medium-sized discrete manufacturing enterprises. But for most discrete manufacturing enterprises, workshop information is a relatively weak link. The field information of workshop is very difficult to feedback to the enterprises management, which greatly affected the management decision in time and rationally. There is a similar problem while the enterprise's management conveys production order to the workshop at the same time. These problems make the implementation of manufacturing process information management more difficult in discrete manufacturing plant.The paper is proposed based on analysis of the problems existing in field data acquisition methods of current discrete manufacturing plant. Aims to reasearch and develop a data acquisition system which is low cost, easy operation, realize data acquisition and convey production order. Based on the analysis of the demand of the data acquisition system in discrete manufacturing plant and various data types in the workshop, the total structure of data acquisition system's was proposed by combining MES. Then according to the functions of data acquisition system, a kind of data collector was designed and developed. The data collector was designed with a good man-machine interface and two optional communication modes—Ethernet and ZigBee wireless network. After the hardware of data collector was complemented, a kind of application software system of the data collector was developed. In the monitoring layer, PC monitoring software was developed and designed by Visual Basic 2005 and SQL Server 2000. The monitoring software was used to receive and process the field data from workshop and transfer data to the MES. Meanwhile, it can also realize the production order to workshop. Finally, the whole data acquisition system was integrated, and to verify its feasibility through the experiments.Through the application of the data acquisition system in the workshop of enterprise, a high-efficient discrete manufacturing workshop data acquisition system and a system that can convey production order to workshop was established. The system is fundamental to achieve information management of discrete manufacturing workshop. |
