Building Radio Monitoring Analysis Database System Based On OLAP

Due to the development of Yunnan Radio Monitoring Network, more and more radio monitoring site has been built. At the same time, mass data of radio monitoring has been collected and stored in radio monitoring database, it is very difficult to analyze them. OLAP is the most popular technology on field of analyzing mass data and displaying result. OLAP has been used successfully in many fields.This paper is based on good comprehension on theory and technology of OLAP, OLAP is applied to building Monitoring Analysis Database System of Yunnan Radio Monitoring Network. Firstly, the OLAP theory and technology are introduced in the paper. Secondly, needs of Monitoring Analysis Database System is described carefully in second part of this paper. Thirdly, the work of OLAP design is expressed. This paper specially introduces the process that analysis data is displayed.By using OLAP technology into the development and the design of Yunnan Radio Monitoring Analysis Database System, business requirements, such as general radio monitoring and frequency assignment, have been met. Yunnan Radio Monitoring Analysis Database System, Combined with OLAP technology, has provided analysis data for decision-making of radio administration and get ready for data mining.
