Nowadays, various of data gather and storage system are used widely in communication, radar detecting and aerospace. As the developing of semiconductor and microelectronics technologies, storage medium is updating day by day.Compared with the magnetic tape and floppy disk in early days, Compact Disc, hard disk and all kinds of memory card in recent years have higher speed and much better performance. To solve the higher speed of data gathering and the storage of large data, we research on a high-speed storage system technology based on FPGA.First of all, this article analyses the achievement of high-speed storage system and then submits a kind of high-speed storage board based on FPGA. This memory board consists of one of Stratix III serial chips which deceloped by Altera company and several of Kingston 266×CF cards. The CF cards make the huge storage capacity and the FPGA card controls the reading and writing of the memories which expand the bandwith. The board is designed symmetrical, and looks beautiful and pinthy. This article emphasis on the characteristic of CF card and explain why to use it as the memory in this system. In order to expand the bandwith, parallel storage and fluviation mode are imported, these are introduced in the second chapter in this article. In the third and forth chapter of the article, the hardware and software design is analyzed in detail.At the end of the article is the summary and the expectation of the development of high-speed storage technology.
