Teaching Management System Development And Design

When schools keep getting bigger and bigger, more and more management information is generated. How to search and use this information to improve the school management becomes a core problem. And there is an urgent need to develop School Management System for school users at all levels.This thesis introduces the development of the school management system of Fujian Industry Trade school. This system is developed for the needs of teaching and learning, mainly for three types of users: administrator, teachers, and students, and provides them with different privileges to satisfy their different needs. This system will meet students' needs in the entire process from admission to graduation, and the needs of school management in all aspects. This system is developed based on .NET framework, and programmed with C#. The popular C/S architecture,Web Service technology and SQL Server DBMS are adopted to achieve full access and information sharing for all school users.Firstly, this thesis gives a review of school management system, and introduces C#, web service technologies and SQL Server. Then, the requirements analysis is given base on the studies on teaching management and teaching process. With the preliminary design, five modules are determined: teaching information module, student information module, teacher information module, system maintenance module, and system help module. The detailed design is also given, and finally the system is implemented with C#. The primary application of this system indicates it can meet users' needs and improve school management. With the users' feedback, we will improve the system in the future.
