With the establishment and development of the socialist market economy, the reform of higher education in China is deepened, and the employment system of college graduates' is undergoing profound changes. In the course of college graduates' employment activities, the information concerned with the employers and talent market plays a decisive role for graduates. Similarly, the information about college graduates' employment provides scientific basis for the teaching, reform and development of colleges and universities. University graduates' employment information is of utmost importance for colleges and universities, the graduates, the employers and even the whole society. Therefore, improving the construction of Information Management system for College Graduates' Employment is of strategic significance.Preceded from the actual employment situation of Yunnan university graduates, this thesis analyzes and designs the Information Management system for College Graduates' Employment. To begin with, the paper analyzes the importance of employment information for college graduates. Then, an exposition of the concept and principles of the systematic development are made. According to the steps during the course of graduates' employment activities, namely supply, storage, inquiry and statistics of employment information, the system is divided into five parts: information release, information query, information statistics, information track and information analysis. Concerning from the users stance, the system designs three roles: the graduates, the employers and the colleges, aiming at connecting the employment information with the graduates. At last, the paper introduces the realization and a test case of the information management system. Compared with traditional management system, this system is based on the internet; it surpasses the limit of time and space and provides information for the graduates and the employers. Meanwhile, the system makes it more convenience for the colleges to collect, analyze and trace the employment information of the graduates. Besides, it achieves the integration and application of several kinds of information, realizing the convenient use of mass and broad data. This system uses Browser/Server technology; in the foreground it uses ASP.NET development technology, in the background MS SQL Server 2000 database development technology. Based on the campus network and the Internet, this system is mainly geared to schools, employers and students in order to realize the centralized management, scattered operation and information sharing of graduates' employment information.
