Research And Development Of Foundry Enterprises EAM System

? EAM(Enterprise Asset Management) is a new concept of enterprises information management, which is based on asset management and using worksheet as its main line, with the target of improving the level of enterprises asset management and also providing the statistical proof while the enterprise changing their management strategy according to the market information. At present, EAM system has been used widely abroad and mainly in the field of power industry and petrochemical industry. In manufacturing industry, especially foundry, they still use the old methods to manage the assets. This research is to bring in the EAM management idea to the foundry industry and develop an EAM system based on the practical situation of foundry enterprises.Firstly, this paper studies the EAM management idea and assets management methods of foundry enterprises, finding out the things in common. And also establishes the theoretical possibility of implementing EAM system in foundry enterprises.Secondly, features of EAM and ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) systems have been introduced by the comparative study of management objects and ideas. The possibility of integration is also discussed.Thirdly, based on the practical situation of foundry enterprises, this paper describes the requirement analysis, including business process analysis, data flow analysis and data dictionary. Detail flowcharts are also provided.Fourthly, detail design based on the demand of the foundry enterprises is undertaken, consisting of system conceptual design, system logic design, system structure and function design. The Entity-Relationship approach along with the detail database logic design is provided. The system is also divided into eight modules, including equipment management, worksheet management, preventive maintenance management, purchasing management, inventory management, human resource management and financial management.Finally, this paper introduces the implementation process of this system in Shanxi Zhongtiaoshan Electromechanical Device Co., Ltd.
