Development And Application Of The ERP System For Foundry Enterprise Based On C/S Architecture

Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) is an enterprise resources management system, which combines enterprise management theories, operation flow and basic data, human resources, material resources, computer software and hardware. It's an integration of management thought, software product and management system. On the condition of today's intense competition, in order to gain the market predominance, foundry enterprises must combine all kinds of the resources, reduce the productive waste, improve the productive efficiency, and upgrade the management level etc. To achieve this goal, the realization of enterprise information management is a critical step.According to the ERP theory and the operation flow of foundry enterprise, this paper studies the design and development of the foundry enterprise ERP system, with PowerBuilder 9.0 and SQL Server 2000.First, this article describes the requirement analysis which needs to be done before the foundry enterprise ERP system was developed, it includes business process analysis, data flow analysis, network structure analysis and feasibility analysis.Second, this article introduces the structure and functions of the system. Based on the demand of the foundry enterprises, the system is divided into order management, sale management, production management, stock and inventory management, quality and equipment management, human resources management, die casting management, client management, news management and system maintenance module. With the theory of Object Oriented Programming, a number of features menus are design by some software development technologies such as inherit, encapsulation, and events and so on.At last, based on the research of the implementation flow and methods of ERP in foundry enterprise, this article describes the implementation process of this system in the ZJXF Company. After them using this system, it improves enterprises'management, enhance the manufacture efficiency and realize the digital management.
