| With the fast development and boom of modern mobile communication system in global business and the increasing requirements of high-speed multimedia data business, the new generation communication system need more and more advanced technology to fulfill higher transmit speed and system capacity. Nowadays most of countries all over the world have focused on the research and study on the 4th generation mobile communication system. As one of the important technologies for 4th generation mobile communication system, LTE (Long Term Evolution) is the main one to be researched with the good performance such as high speed, high system capacity and high compatibility.TRX (Transmit/Receive) block is one of the important functions in mobile communication system especially LTE. The TRX RF performance affects the BS communication quality directly and makes it work or not. When BS works, the RF application shall also be paid more attention to the effect and interference between BS and other communication systems.Based on the actual RF design such as verification and adjustment for the RF module and system of FDD (Frequency Division Duplex) LTE BS, this project studies the key specifications and parameters of its RF chains and circuits of TRX module. It also analyses the basis and importance of RF module test including the test platform and its RF instruments and accessories.In this paper it focuses on the following three main points. Firstly, it introduces the main basic structure and studies the related important technologies of FDD LTE BS TRX module, such as the TRX chain, DPD (Digital Pre-Distortion), etc. Secondly, it describes the standard test environment and the method to build test platform including the list of actual RF instruments and accessories and the definition to test temperature and environment. Finally, it analyses the key specifications, verification and importance of TDD LTE TRX module and RF chains by the actual results and data. Then the analysis and conclusion are finished in each chapter to make the TRX module meet the requirements of its RF specifications and manuals, while the final TRX RF design and test are completed. |
