| In recent years, RFID based guide systems are used more and more widely in the museum, art exhibition and scenic spot where huge stream of people at. Alone with these kind of applications become more and more popular, the requirements of the devices are increaseing too. The requirements to the RFID reader which is the the key technology of RFID based guide system include faster Processing speed, stronger multimedia performance, and more convenient API. Developing a UHF RFID handled reader are confront huge challenge.This paper analyzed the way of RFID reader designing based on the requirements of guide system, then design and implement a UHF RFID handled reader for guide system. This paper did research on the architecture of hardware and shftware. The hardware include OMAP-AM3517 MPU based on ARM-Cortex A8 producted by TI, the UHF reader chip AS3991 producted by AS and WIFI chip. The software architecture based on Linux, and the application system based on QT.Firstly, this paper analyzed the trend of RFID based guide system developing, then found out the challenge for the RFID handled reader which is the key technology for the RFID based guide system. After that this paper did research on related technology of UHF RFID handled reader and made the research plan. Then made the design plan of hardware, and chosen the AM3517 as MPU , the AS3991 as RFID model, the Linux as the embedded operating system, QT/E as the interface of desktop. The Design the software architecture which includes device driver and API for upper application based on the analyzed of ISO/IEC 18000-6C. At last complated the transplant of Linux and QT/E. |
