Design And Implementation Of Enterprise Inventory Management System On Page Flow Technology

An enterprise should improve its core competitiveness and profitability by informatization because of the fierce competition. IT application in each aspect of an enterprise is playing an unprecedented advantage to promote the management and the efficiency, and reduce the costs of production and operation. The inventory management system, as an important part of an enterprise IT application, is playing a more and more important role in many aspects, such as speeding up cash flow, reducing inventory, improving customer satisfaction, strengthening vendor management, and so on.The core development platform of Page Flow, which is associated with the system development, is introduced briefly in this paper, including project management, folder management, page file management, page element management, page flow management, project generating and compiling, display of page transfer, etc. Some key problems, such as page file management, page element addition, and page transfer visualization, which must be resolved during the period of system construction, are discussed in detail, and the solutions are provided respectively.In the paper, a development proposal of enterprise inventory system on Page Flow technology is implemented, and a B/S based, distributed, cross-database, cross-platform system is constructed. UML and Web application development are combined to set up the models visually. Use case diagram, clasee diagram, sequence diagram, component diagram in UML are used to define system requirements and describe system design. An example of an IT enterprise, whose core business mode is project management based, is proposed. After its business process and management status are analyed and some inventory systems available in the market are compared with one another, the solution is designed deeply, the period of system programming and database modeling are described in detail to solve the key problems of the enterprise. The main line of the system is project management, its business nodes include purchasing, stock management and selling, and its functions include project seting up, process management and control, reporting and project completion. The system is practical and scalable.
