The complexity of the system integration project not only lies in its knowledge-intensive characteristic, but also because it's related to engineering implementation. This kind of project requires strict criterion, standard and procedure, as well as intelligence and creativity from the team members. Most system integration projects are developed based on personal experience therefore has their limitation. In this case, a standard project management theory which combines both theoretically and practically with the topic should be of great help for the future development.Many aspects of project management are related and have mutual effect with schedule management, for instance, scope, resources, risk, cost and quality etc, which are all critical factors to the success of the whole project. A study into the schedule management of system intergration project has a significant meaning to current on-going projects. This article, using TP-LIFE Company's data warehouse integration as an example, combines the theory of project management with development of information system to thoroughly analyze topics including definition, recognition, logical orders of project activities; duration estimation of single activity and estimation of whole project schedule. It also introduces basic principles and methods for project scheduling and cost estimation. Meanwhile the article suggests a solution that integrates the progress baseline control analysis, task analysis and cost control analysis. It's the solution that can solve issues and difficulties during the schedule management for the whole intergration project. A creative theory which indicates that the critical modules within the mentioned project should have special monitor, and that the need of using EVA (Earned Value Analysis) to measure pontential delay based on the schedule was raised in the article as well.
