Design Of The Mobile Multimedia Device Based On CDMA2000

3G technology provides a good platform for applications and development of mobile multimedia. CDMA2000 1xEVDO network is being applied by commercial stage.With the CDMA2000 1xEVDO network,we can bring video phone,online gaming and video viewing etc which require higher data rates into our life.These features are quite attractive for network users.Grain produce a ARM9 processor called GM8180 with a high processor speed,H.264 video compression,low power consumption and other advantages,which is very suitable for embedded development.This article will design a mobile multimedia terminals based on MC8630 which is produced by ZTE.The article will discuss 1xEVDO theoretical knowledge and analyze hardware and software of the system in detail.The specific work of this article is :At first the article analyzes the status and prospect of 3G and mobile multimedia,and studies the practical significance of this article,and propose block diagram of scheme.Then the article analysis the principle of CDMA2000 1xEVDO and the key technology of mobile multimedia,which will be used in the following chapters ,and introduce the 3G module MC8630 in the end of this chapter.Next chapter the article study the hardware design and peripheral circuit deign of mobile multimedia,which will be designed by MC8630 and GM8180.Then the article study the software of mobile multimedia about audio,video,3G network interface ,and perform the renderings of 3G mobile multimedia.Finally the article describes the hardware debugging skills,then concludes the whole article and prospects the future.
