The3G network of CDMA20001x EV-DO has been start to official deploy fromApril2009in China. The applications about data communication of3G have begun toappear in measure and control domain which integrated communications technologies andembedded computer technology. The types about data transmission of measure and controlhave a new choice because the network of3G which has the characteristics of wireless andhigh-speed rate. Most automation companies have launched their own products. Gettingthe inspiration by analyzing of existing systems, the writer sums up the commons andextracts configurable parameters of the exiting measure and control systems setting asidespecific applications, and then proposes a common development framework which applies3G data communication. This thesis provides a reference for the applied research of3Gnetwork.This system is a complete set of solutions about the application of3G in measure andcontrol system, including the design of hardware and software, and the design of systemterminals distributed on different site, and the design of software used to deal with businesslogic. The main contents and innovations of this thesis includes:(1) The traditionalsystems based-on wired have many shortcomings, such as difficult to deploy in distributedapplications, the peripheral objects cannot be fully monitored and controlled, and the lowrate of data transmission. To solve the above problems, using the maturity wirelesscommunication networks of3G, referring to the design idea of configuration software,integrating with the MCF52223which is Freescale’s32bits micro controller and theMC8630which is a1x EV-DO machine-to-machine module from ZTE, In this thesis thewriter proposes a solution of configured measure and control systems based on3G.(2)From the view of commonality of hardware modules, designing the hardware componentsof the system terminals by analyzing of existing systems and you can apply this system indifferent businesses by increasing or decreasing hardware modules.(3) To solve theproblems of terminals, such as poor expansibility, low reusability, designing the softwareof terminals, referring to configuration idea and component-based development approach, the software components are reusable and the software functions of system can beconfigured.(4) To achieve the functions of system configuration and monitor. Design theconfiguration software, monitor software and listening software, in combining with theidea of hierarchical and the method of development based-module. You can develop asimilar system through this solution by configuring the terminals.(5) Put forward the stepsto develop a specific application example using this system, the rate of data transfer up to2Mbps; the example verifies the reliability and feasibility of the systemSystem realizes the reliable integration of the communication technology of3G, andInternet technology, and measure and control systems. It can be used in intelligenttransportation, environmental monitoring, and monitoring of city lighting. It has researchsignificance and reference value for practical applications of3G in measure and controlsystem.
