With printed material, the means of the traditional service mechanism in library cannot satisfy the reader's need. The rise of network information transmission, in real-time and in convenience, is far surpassing the traditional library. Therefore, the idea of digital library emerges.Digital library is a digital information warehouse. It can store huge amounts of various forms of information. Users can access it easily through network, and the access is not limited with time and space. Digital library is the product of high technology, including digital technology, network technology, multimedia information processing technology, information compression and transmission technology, the security technology, reliability technology, and data warehouse. The frame of network of the digital library is foundation. How to build a digital library network, how to provide better digital service to readers, now becomes a problem in the construction of digital library.This thesis is to analyze and practice, through the examples, the new technology of digital library network service. Abandoned in the past extensive network management model, using the relevant switching and routing technologies, in accordance with the needs of digital library functions, re-design and application of network structure to meet the business needs of the digital library.
