| With the development of information technology, building up EMIS (Education Management Information System) has already become the main tide in Radio and Television University. The EMIS, which reflects a universal aspiration and an urgent demand of inform-based office work in colleges, belongs to one of the typical applications for information technology applied in the educational field.However, many of the old system have obvious disadvantages--- the so-called"Information Island". That means, if we have to share the information resource of other systems, first of all, we have to establish a big system that covers all of the small systems, it is just the point where the old versions are unavailable. In other words, the old versions generally have difficulties in expanding and integrating. So a suitable and efficient platform is quite necessary and essential. The work of the thesis aims to working out proper platform to break the information barrier between different departments and realize interconnection and intercommunication of various information systems. In order to achieve this, the thesis uses the J2EE and EJB technology to develop the system. Experiences shows, the design was well got up.The thesis deeply analyses the problems existed in the EMIS and compares several integration methods which is based on the present state in my city. In the first part of the thesis, the background of the project, the current situation and its prospect are given; reasons why the system can keep changing and optimizing under the influence of technology development and market requirements out of software structure are explained. And then, The key technology relative to establish the system are put emphasis on; A detailed introduction of EJB and its concrete structure are described. The last but not the least, the thesis give an example -EMIS in the Radio and Television University of Chongqing.The system ,which is top efficient, almost involves all the content of EMIS, such as the Teaching Plan, Examination Management, School Roll Management, Student Grade Management, Study Material Management, Curriculum Arrangement, System Maintenance and so on. Based on those, the thesis gives a detailed analysis and description on design and implementation process as well. Lastly, considering the practice, the system is fully tested by the Theory for Software. At the same time, the thesis gives an objective evaluation on it and puts forward its practical significance and development prospects. |
