| Communication and coordination between Agents in accordance with the agreed protocol makes the whole system becomes a superior performance, also can solves the problems which difficult to solve for a single Agent. However, because of Agents which have the different platforms and knowledge have different communication message structure and message formats, there is often poor to communicate between the Agents, This paper attempts to introduce ontology in MAS for sharing of knowledge and unified message format between the Agents. Ontology can capture the related field knowledge, provide a common understanding of knowledge in this area, and give a clear definition of the interactions vocabulary from different formal models, this can improve the system of communication, interoperability, and reliability capabilities.To begin with, this paper depth study the existing theoretical results, describes current theoretical knowledge of ontology and Agent communication and study ontology and its application in Multi-Agent System. It defines and implements ontology for travel service system based on the study of ontology modeling and analysis of travel information characteristics and specifications. It design and implementation Multi-Agent Systems for a travel information service system in accordance with the FIPA specifications in the Java Agent Development Platform (JADE), which messages using ACL based on XML extension. System implementation results show that the use of the MAS based on ontology communication mechanism for communication not only strengthened the Agent for the consistency of the message content to understand which to achieve knowledge sharing and reuse, but also improve the further intelligence of Agent to provide a reliable guarantee which of effective a platform for semantic query information. |
