| As the development of 3G mobile communication and e-commerce, the smart phone that supports data, image and voice will be the main products of mobile phone market. The difference between smart phone and feature phone lies in the independent operating system, the consumer who use smart phone can install application software as they want. But the performance of traditional mobile phone hardware solutions is too low to support large varieties of multimedia applications. So the research and development of smart phone baseband module based on MSM7227 has the technical value and wide application prospects.Firstly, this paper researches the situation and the trend of smart phone processors, compares some hardware and software solutions, shows the advantage of Qualcomm MSM series processors. Secondly, It introduces the hardware structure of smart phone and briefly analyzes the function of each part of the baseband and radio frequency module.The 3rd chapter expounds the overall design scheme of baseband module, and put forward the processor architecture of the single chip "baseband processor+ application processor", in order to solve the problems of lack of processor ability of single processor and high cost of dual processors. Then elaborate on principle and design scheme for each functional module of baseband, including LCD, Camera, FM, SIM card, T-flash card, digital proximity sensor, G-sensor, magnetic sensor.The paper focus on the power management and audio which are core modules of smart phone baseband. The 4th chapter gives a detailed analysis and design of power management module, posing the solution that can reduce the power dissipation. The 5th chapter gives a detailed analysis and design of audio module, debugging audio index and posing the echo suppression solution.The last chapter gives some test data and curve of the smart phone that adopts the design scheme of this paper. The results show this scheme can ensure the stability and performance of the system. |
