Research On The Library Information Ethics And Its Construction

In the information and internet era, information ethics problems have become increasingly prominent. As institutions to provide information services, library also encountered some issues in information activities that traditional ethics could not cover, they are Library's Information Ethics problems. This article anchors on this point and then discusses related contents about library information ethics and hopes to provide a reference for our nation's research and construction of the library information ethics.The first part is the introduction. It discusses the background, significance, current situation, methods, innovation and ideas of the study. To face the moral dilemma of the modern library's information activities, discusses library information ethics and its construction not only necessary, but also has the theoretical and practical significance. The analysis of current situation found that the research on information ethics has achieved certain results, but the research on library information ethics is quite weak.The second part is about the related concepts and theoretical basis of the library information ethics. Through the way of progressive layers, this part introduces the meanings of ethics and morality and the relationship between them, the concept of information ethics and the difference and the relation with information law, and then analysis on the concept and content of the library information ethics and also the difference and the relation with library ethics, and further explain the functions and features of the library information ethics.The third part is about anomie and the reasons of the library information ethics. This part generalizes information ethics anomie in library information activities from the aspects of the librarians and readers, and then from the angle of librarian factor, readers factor and environmental factor to analysis the main reason that cause anomie of library information ethics.The fourth part is about the construction of library information ethics. This paper presents the principles to construct library information ethics, and the development of library information ethics norm, to carry out the education of library information ethics, to promote the library information legislation and the use of technical means as the main measures to strengthen the construction of library information ethics, it aims to provide some reference value for the our country's construction of the library information ethics.The fifth part is the epilogue. It summarizes this paper, illustrates the inadequacies in this study, and then prospects the construction of our nation's library information ethics.
