| As one of the key components of communication system, antenna plays an important role incommunication transmission system along with the rapid development of wireless communicationtechnology. This thesis focuses on the design and realization of feed network for X-band antennaarrays. Works have been done in this thesis are listed as follows:(1) Design of patch antenna element: Based on the analysis of patch antenna, a simple patchantenna has been designed and optimized. The impedance bandwidth of the antenna patch is700MHz(S11<15dB), and the relative bandwidth of the antenna patch is about 6% at the frequency11.6GHz.(2) The influence of element spacing on the Gain of antenna arrays performance is analyzedunder the condition of equal amplitude/co-phase excitation and equal amplitude/out-phaseexcitation.(3) Design and realization of linear antenna arrays: combining a feed network for fourelements linear antenna arrays with the microstrip patch antenna which has been designedpreviously, a four elements linear antenna arrays which has two layers is realized.(4) Design and realization of planar antenna arrays: several feed networks for four elementsplanar antenna arrays has been designed, then the influence on planar antenna arrays caused bydifferent feed networks is analyzed. |
