| Gear-stamping is an importing part of manufacturing industry.With the rapidlydevelopment of industry in China during these years,the demand of gear between differentdepartments is increasing quickly.However,most of gear-stamping assignment was done byhuman.It can,t accord with the demand.With the purpose of improving gear-stampingproductivity,reducing the labor intensity and assuring security,it is necessary to research onautomatic operation of gear-stamping.This article is focusing on the design of gear-stampingmanipulator.Firstly,the whole scheme of design is given,which is based on the technique ofgear-stamping.Secondly,each part of the manipulator is designed.Then,research is done basedon the virtual prototype of manipulator to check the design.The main research of this articleinclude:(1) It suggests a scheme of gear-stamping manipulator which is based on the techniqueof gear-stamping,in other words,the manipulator can be used to forge gear.Meanwhile,fiveparts of the manipulator including the paw,the wrist and so on.(2) The five parts of the gear-stamping manipulator were designed based on the schemeabove including the drive system and the transmiission system.The parameteter of thecylinder and motor was determined.Assembly drawing and hydraulic diagram were done aswell.(3) The3D components and assembly model of the gear-stamping manipulator were builtby using Pro/E.Then the virtual prototype was built when the3D model was imported intoADAMS.Step function was designed according to the motion track of the manipulator.Afterthe simulation running,different kinds of curves were derived.The result showed that thedesign of the gear-stamping manipulator is reasonable.Moreover,the curves of force at panelpoint would be the reference of finite element below.(4) The3D model of the key parts including the finger base and coupling were importedinto ANSYS software so as to do static analysis.The stress cloud chart and displacementdiagram showed that there was no stress concentration or obvious deformation.The design ofthe manipulator is reasonable. |
