In recent years, with China's accession into the WTO, tourism developed a lot.The industing has become one of our economic pillar . And Tourism, especially inbound tourism has risen with a lot of potential, tourism development impetus to the development of tourism education. Tourism needs large professional talents, and tertiary education's specialty is tourism travel, the cradle of talent cultivation.China's tourism education pays great attention to theoretical study, but in practice the students lack social.aspects must walk to work, unable to work for various reasons, and social and pressing industry requirements are seen from a distance. American tourism education's developments,began earlier.early in the initial stage is closely linked with industry in tourism industry association, hotel industry association and push the path of combining the school-enterprise walking under, especially on the students' practical ability have better training, is the world tourism education successful model.This paper's first half is of Chinese and American tourist education. The comparative studies in this part of China's tourism education is looked at through the analysis of China's tourism education's cument atuation,reveaingl the problems.the teachers education and industry is not clear , training goals are not dear, practical teaching resulting in a lack of competitiveness of tourist graduates' basic reasons.In this paper, through the third chapter of America's four college tourist college Cornell hotel management college, American's Purdue University hotel and tourism management, University of Houston, the Hilton Hotel Institute, University of Nevada's hotel management college teaches strength, curriculum setting, research institutions to analive the United States and the success of tourism education. For example the more valued faculty industry background,more attention paid to practical courses, the curriculum individuation, strengthening of the and industry, the interaction between industry association, and teaching evaluation system of the establishments are all.The latter part of this article negards a the American tourist education for reference to the basis of successful experience of China's tourism education, aiming at the problems existing in the research, do strategic bilateral tourism education differences between them was analyzed on the basis of American education revelation to China, proposes open industry association as the travel industry, through combining the school-enterprise's ways to solve the problem of shortage of tourism education investment.This paper is aimed at improving tourism college students' practical abilities, thus improve tourism related specialized students in the competitiveness of the marketplace, and promote the overall development of the tourism industry, joining the industry and education through development, enterprise and schools creatiing a win-win situation.
