Because of Economic globalization and Trade liberalization after the foundation of WTO, traditional trade remedy measures were restricted.anti-dumping measures becomes the most important means of trade protection in many countries. China has become the biggest victim of anti-dumping measures. With the enhancement of economic relationship between China and EU, together with the continuous expanding of China's trade surplus with EU, the anti-dumping to China has become intensified, leading to tremendous negative impact on China's foreign trade. Studying on the influence upon China's chemical products export trade caused by EU's anti-dumping has far-reaching significance for the development of China's foreign trade and the response to other countries'anti-dumping to us.Firstly, through economic analysis on dumping and anti-dumping, the paper demonstrates the causes of dumping, elaborate we should dialectical view of dumping, after analysis the reasonable or not of anti-dumping, and analyses the economic effects of anti-dumping. Secondly, the paper analyses the status in quo and characteristics of EU's anti-dumping to China, and discusses the reasons of EU's anti-dumping to this issue. The focus of this paper is to probe into the influence upon China's chemical products export trade caused by EU's anti-dumping to China. In this paper, we studies from theoretical and empirical research. The paper analyze the impact on China's enterprises caused by EU imposing anti-dumping tax upon them through using the static Cournot model game theory and Stackelberg model game theory. Then, by collecting the relevant case data of EU's anti-dumping investigation on China from 1999-2009, the paper establishes a Panel Data Model to analyze empirically the inhibitory effect on China's chemical products export trade caused by EU's anti-dumping. It gets to the conclusion that the anti-dumping of the EU against China leads to Inhibitory effect of trade.In the fifth part, analysis the inspiration of EU's anti-dumping investigation on China,and the paper puts forward some policy recommendations for our country to response to the anti-dumping. Finally, the paper summaries and proposes directions for further research.
