To stimulate the U.S. economy and reduce the pressure of the mid-term elections, the Obama Government launched the "Doubling U.S. Exports" in the first quarter of 2010 putting forward strategic plan in which exports doubled and 200 million jobs created in the next five years, that is, America's "Doubling U.S. Exports in Five Years", also known as the National Export Initiative.This article analyzes the feasibility of the measures to achieve the strategic objectives of the United States and economic development from the United States export strategy as the starting point, as well as its possible impact on our economy. Finally we come to conclude the measures that our government should take.Doubling U.S. Exports strategy focus on promoting the export of minor enterprises, manufacturing revival, stimulating global commerce promotion by government or trade missions, protecting the rights of U.S. companies by means of trade barriers and continuing to be weak dollar to expand exports. This article regards the strategy's goal is hard to achieve, but it will do active effect to U.S. economy. The impact on China also should be viewed dialectically, it provides opportunities to deepen trade cooperation, while its trade protection policies and the pressure of RMB appreciation deteriorating China's foreign trade environment. China should actively respond to the opportunities and challenges from these strategies and measures. The Government should improve macro-control capacity, make the market environment in China better, adhere to a stable monetary policy, and enhance the capability of enterprises'independent innovation.
