Food crisis in 2007 almost ruined all the achievements that world to reduce the number of the undernourished. People who are facing the threat of hunger is increasing rather than decreasing which is a trend opposite the goal of world food summit. Food security situation in developing countries are worsening. Food security in developing countries not only is influenced by general factors of food producing, but also influenced by food trade and food aid.This article focuses mainly on the factors that would influence the food security situation in developing countries. Through realism of international relation perspective, the paper will firstly analyze, with Robert Gilpin's international political economy, the negative effects brought by food trade under international trade system and by food aid. And then, the article points out a feasible method, improving food self-supply, to resolve developing countries'food security situation.
