Research On The Development Of Rural Banks

The key point of solving the problem of "Agriculture, Countryside and Farmer" which has always been a vital issue affecting China's development of rural economy is capital. The establishment of rural bank is of great importance to increase farmer's income, to push forward the construction of New Socialist Countryside and develop the rural economy. Since the first rural bank was set up in Sichuan in 2007, it has played a role in increasing the capital supply of the western rural area, arising farmer's income and providing loans. But there are many problems concerning external environment and internal management of rural bank which has not set up for a long time. So this thesis aims at the problems that rural banks come across to provide reasonable suggestions and different development mode for different areas.The thesis discusses from three aspects, the first part is to introduce research background, range, theoretical foundation, current research situation at home and abroad and the overview of rural bank. The second part is to analyze the current situation of existing rural banks through there areas in China which are the East, the Center, the West. The current situation includes development history, present station and existing problems of rural banks in different areas. The third part is to summarize some inspirations on the base of reference of overseas successful experience to development rural bank. And then present policy suggestions to development rural bank which are to select different development modes for different areas on the base of improving external and internal environment.
