Research On Land Use And Land Cover Change And Its Valuation Of Ecosystem Service

Research on land use and land cover change and its value of ecosystem services have became a common hotspot at present time. This paper introduces the progress of research on land use and land cover change and its value of ecosystem services in domestic and foreign, elaborates its theory and method in detail, and takes Nanjing city as an example, puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for the sustainable land use. Finally, the author makes some forecasts.In real diagnosis research, the author analyzes land use/cover change of Nanjing from the aspects of land quantity, structure, extent and benefit of land development, social condition, land quality etc. On the basis of the analysis, in virtue of SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science) software, the multi-variable regression model between the relative factors and the land-use structure was built; intrinsic mechanism and actuation factor were clearly displayed. Finally, with referring to the table of Chinese land ecosystem services value of unit area and utilizing the data of land use in Nanjing from 1996 to 2008, changes of the values of ecosystem services caused by land use change were estimated. The study shows that:(1) Nanjing land-use showed the following characteristics:land use patterns varies, land-use structure different from different area; land input more than land productivity; land utilization is high, land reclamation rate is low; low-yield land is more; transport land less than construction land; the proportion of economic forest is low.(2) Economic development, consumption level, science and technology advancement, structure adjustment, policy and rule of law also play important roles during land-use type conversion. Economical development and population growth are the important factors; policy and market play the regulative role; the advance in technology is intrinsic factor.(3) Values of ecosystem services of Nanjing in 1996 and 2008 are 99.33x108yuan/a,93.10x108yuan/a. It reduced 6.23xl08Yuan from 1996 to 2008 in Nanjing. Values of ecosystem services of forest land increased 2.81xl08yuan, and the rest all reduced. Values of ecosystem services of cultivated land reduced 5.12xl08yuan.(4) In order to promote sustainable development of economic, social and environmental, the following must be done:strengthen the awareness of protecting environment, protecting cultivated land, improving the ecological environment, population control, strengthen law enforcement.
