An Empirical Study Of The Relationship Between Innovation Capability And Growth For GEM Board Enterprises

Innovation increasingly becomes the leading source for the promotion for a enterprise's development in the background of the economic globalization and marketization. A continuously innovation will help Small and Medium-sized businesses to develop and grow quickly and healthily.In the basis of the previous research at home and abroad, this paper draws the theory of the second board business growth, the business innovation ability and the relationship between the above two. Here we study the Growth Enterprises Market Board Enterprises Listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, and we have collected the data for these enterprises from the year 2008 to 2010 as training sample. After then we use stepwise regression based on the principal component and. factor analysis and the multivariate partial least-square regression analysis to research the correlation between the Innovation and the growth for the Growth Enterprises Market Board Enterprises.The following are the conclusions of this paper:(1) There is a significant relationship between the number of patents, the number of the important research projects and the enterprise profitability;(2) weather a research department is specially established in the corporate is important both for the enterprise expansion and profitability;(3) There is no significant relationship the proportion of the research staff between the enterprise expansion and profitability, as well as the research funds。...
