| As an emerging industry on a world wide basis, service outsourcing has become the trend for another new round of global industrial revolution and industrial transfer. Service outsourcing industry featured by high content of information technology, high added value, low consumption of resources, little environmental pollution, rise of employment opportunities and high international standard, will be adapted to the characteristics of resources and talent of Wuxi New District. Wuxi New District, as a national level hi-tech industry development zone, has become the famous manufacture base in Yangtze River Delta. While facing the challenge of economic transformation and regeneration, WND has to choose service outsourcing industry as the strategic choice.This dissertation explores the core concepts of service outsourcing and summarizes the methodologies and basic views based on various theories and disciplines. Meanwhile, with the comparative studies on the development routes of India and Chengdu China, it provides WND with positive experiences and lessons. Supported by the literature reviews and comparative studies, it further introduces the SWOT research method and thoroughly analyzes the benefits, disadvantages, opportunities and challenges encountered by WND. Therefore it concludes a development strategy by bringing forward practical suggestions on constructing carriers, investment promotion, human resource development, industry policy and public platforms. |
