The Path Choices And Countermeasure Of Agribusiness For Xinjiang Production And Construction Crops

As a main way to realize modern agriculture, agribusiness plays an important role in transforming traditional agricultural production mode, changing congenital debility of agriculture and improving its competitiveness. Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (XPCC) is a special organization which share the responsibility of exploiting virgin land in border area and guarding the frontier, so agriculture take an important strategic position in its economic development and social stability. Taking the agribusiness strategy is not only good for strengthening the competitiveness of agriculture and improving the standard of modern agriculture, but also a current demand to boost the economy and basement of exploiting virgin land in border area and guarding the frontier of XPCC. So point out the way of the agribusiness in XPCC is a significant work.Firstly, the connotation of agribusiness path choices were defined in this paper, and mechanism of agribusiness path choices were analyzed. Secondly, this paper construct an index system to evaluate the developing level of XPCC by empirical analysis, and then it analyzes the current situation of agribusiness for cotton industry, tomatoes industry and sheep industry, and pointed out the deficiency of them. Finally, based on the surrounding analysis, this paper analyzes the agribusiness' path of the cotton industry, tomatoes industry and sheep industry, and put forward proposals to realize the path.Based on the analysis, this paper has reached the following conclusions, first of all, the path-choosing of agribusiness should include production basement construction, and leading enterprise-fostering and making up the interests bind mechanism. Secondly, the whole development level of agribusiness was increasing in the past years, but the processing transformation ability was still insufficiency. The cotton industry, tomatoes industry and sheep industry all have certain of comparative advantage, but their processing capacity and scales were still limited. Finally, the developing path of agribusiness for cotton industry, tomatoes industry and sheep industry will be located as production basement construction, leading enterprise-fostering and making up the interests bind mechanism, based on their current situation and deficiency.
