Beijing Cbd Area White-collar Employees "overwork" An Empirical Study

With the rapid development of the economy, overwork is common in Chinese white-collar workers because of either the external environment such as international climate, social system and cultural factor, or personal factors like career pursuit, professional trait and achievement motivation. The overwork condition not only have a series of bad influence on employer, but also hurt the emotional and physical health of workers. Through the empirical research of the white-collar workers in CBD area of Beijing, and the analysis of their overwork condition as a function of some statistical quantities such as age, educational background and earning, this work get the conclusion that the different kinds of workers have different overwork conditions. The main innovations of this article are:(1) Select white-collar employees in Beijing CBD area as the object of study, analyze their excessive labor characteristics and performance in detail, Which make up for gaps in this part of the study (2) The questionnaire is original.
