An Empirical Study On Ownership Structure Of Listed Companies On The Demand For High Quality Audit

Ownership structure of corporate governance as an important component of the system not only affect the operation of corporate governance, but also to the vital interests of stock investors. In our capital markets, equity agency problems make external audits have become an important complement to the internal mechanisms. Therefore, from the perspective of ownership structure of listed companies demand high quality audit, to guide the formation of a reasonable equity model is of great significance.This paper from the ownership structure of the shareholding structure, ownership concentration and the degree of checks and balances the three aspects of equity ownership structure of the audit of the company's high demand. In empirical research, three aspects of ownership structure for the proposed five hypotheses. This theory, this article from an empirical point of view, to take related tests, descriptive analysis and regression methods such as proof of the ownership structure affect the demand for high audit, to arrive at the following conclusion: the state-owned shares, legal person shares and the demand for high quality audit Significant negative correlation; managerial ownership and audit requirements are related, but not significant, there is paradox. High ownership concentration and audit requirements were U-shaped relationship, while the balance equity and quality audit requirements of the degree is a significant positive correlation.In the above theoretical and empirical conclusions, based on the combination of the actual situation of China's listed companies, this paper puts forward policy recommendations.
