Research On Knowledge Transfer Between Venture Capital Company And Venture Business

In the knowledge economy age, knowledge becomes one of important resources which are necessary for the development and expansion of modern businesses. It's as well to venture capital companies and venture businesses. Since the first modern venture investment institution-the U.S. research and development company has been founded and has been a great success, venture capital industry becomes improved and has become increasingly prominent role to high-tech enterprises. But look at previous studies, people pay more attention to venture capital between venture capital company and venture business, while less attention to knowledge transfer between the two partners. Successful investment projects not only depend on funds, but also knowledge transfer and knowledge sharing between the two partners The full and effective knowledge transfer can greatly improve success rates of investment projects, and promote rapid growth of venture businesses, and enhance competition. So venture capital companies are not just to blood transfusion to venture businesses, but also to help them build a set of the hematopoietic system in the purpose to achieve changes from blood transfusions to hemapoiesis in order to enhance competitive advantage.The paper is on the basis of existing literatures about venture capital and knowledge transfer, as the main body to venture capital companies. Firstly, it analyses the motivation and characteristics of knowledge transfer between the two partners; then proposes four aspects of factors of knowledge transfer; then based on the analysis of the venture capital process model and pre-constructed knowledge transfer, we establish three-stage process model of knowledge transfer and conduct various stages one by one in detail; then it constructs knowledge transfer growth model of venture capital companies, and discusses the effectiveness from the perspective of venture capital companies and their products, and then our view is that knowledge transfer can improve the knowledge structure of venture capital companies, enhance product success rates, and promote venture capital companies and venture businesses growth. Finally, according to the current situation of knowledge management of venture capital companies and venture businesses, this paper proposes knowledge management improvement strategies.This article on the study of knowledge transfer of venture capital enriches the theories of knowledge transfer, while has some tips in terms of meaning or reference value to the companies who pay little and not attention to knowledge transfer. The proposed knowledge transfer process model has references to knowledge transfer activities of venture capital.
