Chinese traditional management thoughts are the most abundant, comprehensive aggregation of Chinese human spirit, and the most concentrated expression of cultural values. For Chinese traditional management thoughts, getting international discourse power is an important breakthrough to improve China's soft power. However, traditional management thoughts are short of discourse power voice, whether at home or abroad. Western management science dominates the academic world, and the same thing happened in China. The lost of the discourse power has seriously constrained China's soft power, weakened China's position and undermined the national interests.After reviewing the history of learning from the west, the author has analyzed several reasons of the lack of discourse power of traditional management thoughts, which are China's backwardness in modern history, adverse international environment, language environment in "hegemony" of English, and the difficulty to study the traditional management thoughts.In the second part of the article, it expounds the necessity for traditional management thought to obtain international discourse power. "In terms of Eastern management, it is an important mission to break the hegemony of western countries and gradually achieve status of an equal dialogue,." We need discourse power, because it helps us establish good international image, enhance the competitiveness of China's enterprises, safeguard our national interests, protect our traditional culture, and achieve new breakthroughs for management.As a treasure of Chinese civilization, traditional management thoughts have a wide voice space. On the one hand, it has rich resources of management theory, concentrated in the fields of governance, production and operation of the state and society; on the other hand, the traditional management thought is earlier and better than the western management thoughts. And, in perspective of development and differences, the Chinese and western management thoughts can complement each other. It is a inevitable trend to learn from each other.In my opinion, it should be based on the reconstruction of discourse power at home in order to overcome difficulties, to achieve the power of discourse abroad and the integration of Western and Eastern management thoughts. What's more, we should establish traditional management disciplines, improve the academic environment, and innovate the theory with practice. At the same time, it is necessary to enhance our power of discourse, clear the discourse channel based on the international language.In modern society where integration is the mainstream, there is no pure East and West, which reveals the disadvantages of unifying management thoughts. We can see from that, the integration of Western and Eastern management thoughts represents the general trend. Management needs the voice of China, and it is inevitable that Chinese traditional management thoughts will achieve strong power of discourse in international proportions.
