Schedule, cost and quality are elements of project management, which are important in project management. Schedule and cost management become core content of project management under the condition that the quality has satisfied project demand. Electric power project have many traits, such as capital denseness, technique denseness, resource denseness, much specialty etc. influenced by many engineering exterior factors, such as design, equipment, purchase, transport and so on. Electric power engineering project management is anfractuosity, many factors are interactional and interrelation. During the engineering putting in practice, when certain schedule is ahead or delay, how to dynamic reflect such change influenced the whole plan? When we analysis project and estimate the cost, how to evaluate project process? In the future, can we realize payoff? On account of appearing a great number of changing, we need to adjust project objective, such as changing budget, changing schedule etc. when we evaluate performance of engineering, which guideline will we according as?In order to plan, organize, harmonize, control, manage electric power engineering project, we must import advanced engineering project management method, and apply engineering project management soft based on computer technology and network technology. P3e/c project management soft is the most advanced project management soft in the word now, it base on plan, cooperation, trace, control, experience, translate project management theory into practicality management technology, it is best in Earned Value Management. This paper mainly studies schedule and cost management of electric power project of Project Management Company of ZhuHai Power Station of Guangdong Yudean Group based on earned value management in the period of construction. We review the background and application of advanced project management theory, and point out that it is necessary to introduce earned value management. From the point of owner view, we apply earned value management to study power project schedule and cost integrate management, give the work flow and application steps.
