Study On The Technical Standard Of Rural Road In SiChuan Province

As an important component of highway, the rural road is one of the most important infrastructure ensuring social economy development. However, there still exist some issues about rural road such as low level of technique, poor road network depth, bad driving terms, traffic jam and so on, which more and more can't meet demanding of rural social and economy development. China's large territory and the difference of local socio～economic and natural topography are large, it is unscientific to develop a unified national technical standard for rural road construction, and it is not feasible. In this paper, based on the theoretical research investigation for rural roads in Sichuan Province a new technical standards is drafted to fit the actual state of rural road in Sichuan. The new technical standard will be used for reference to road construction in Sichuan.Firstly, in order to draft scientific and reasonable technical standard which is adapt to Sichuan's situation, the area of Sichuan is divided into three regional parts by natural features, and they are East Hill Area, Middle Campagna Area and West Mountain Area. And each of them natural condition, engineering technical condition and the material of road in common are investigated. Through the investigation of the traffic and traffic constitute in existence in rural road are researched, and the same time control factors of rural road are confirmed. The rural road have character of itself, such as have small traffic and lack of construction fund, research of route technical standard are carried through and some route technical index are confirmed.Subgrade is basic of travling, the strength and stability of subgrade are very import to rural road. The paper established the technical standard of subgrade according to the characters of new construction and rebuild subgrade. Through the investigation of the pavement types of existing rural road and the status of using the demand of structure in Sichuan Province, intension of bed subgrade and pavement are confirmed. The rural road surface typical composite structure is developed in order to facilitate the operation.
