Post-crisis Era Of China's Export Trade Development Strategy Adjustment

The foreign trade has a significant influence to the industrial and economical development of developing nation, thus the choice of trade developmental strategy becomes an extremely important question. After Reform and Opening-up adopted export substitution strategy successfully, scholars prefer to use the exportation vicarious strategy. But this strategic exposed its defects under the impact of the global financial crisis. In post-crisis era, international business environment appeared many new changes. China's development of foreign trade faces a greater challenge. Therefore, whether the international or domestic reality pressures force us to adjust our export-oriented strategy in order to promote our foreign trade has a better sustainable development.This dissertation analyzed connotation of the export trade development strategy firstly, the ordinary theory about the option of China's foreign trade development Strategy from the area of the conclusion and analyzing on the effect of the export trade. Then this dissertation reviewed and analyzed the effect and result of the option of China's foreign trade development Strategy. This dissertation adopts Multi-indicator method of World Bank to check China's foreign trade development Strategy after Reform and Opening-up, proves that China's foreign trade development Strategy change from import substitution Strategy into export-oriented Strategy after Reform and Opening-up. This dissertation analyzed the condition for choosing a export trade strategy in China. It also analyzed the influence of the internal factors on China's choosing a foreign trade development strategy in terms of the objective and the stage of China's economic development and China's becoming a big trading nation.The formulation of the export trade development strategy is established on the foundation of proper trade theory. This dissertation, consider revising through the analysis of the theory of traditional comparative advantage, the theory of development comparison advantage and the option of China's export trade development strategy. It is considered that the formulation of the theory foundation of China's export trade strategy can't be leaded by traditional theory of static comparison advantage only, it also should be compared with other theories, especially the viewpoint of taking account of the theory of competitive advantages and the theory of development comparison and to refer to the theory of strategically trade policy. According to the change of economic environment, China's export trade development strategy has to put forward some instructive in significance of policy measures.
