With the rapid development of science and technology, the rapid improvement of the social economic, new knowledge comes with each passing day, required the level of research management to improve, especially when the national " Twelfth Five-Year Plan" proposed that "make scientific development as the theme, make speeding up the transformation of economic development as the main line, and adhere to scientific and technological progress and innovation as an important support to accelerate the transformation of economic development", research organizations as the engine of economic development and the important source of innovation, their own transformation and innovation development are imminent, so building ability of continued studying to adapt to the changing situation is needed. Building a study-type organization will play a crucial role both for enhancing the organization's own capabilities of research and scientific development and promoting economic development mode transformation. Therefore, to set up learning organization of Chinese cultural characteristics, scientific characteristics and the corresponding model of leadership is particularly important. However, leadership mode cannot be separable of three elements: leader, to be led (subordinate) and the environment.This paper uses case analysis method and base on a comprehensive analysis of a study-type organization at home and abroad, finding the disadvantages of the traditional mode of leadership on scientific organization. And according to the characteristics of study-type organization, conduct a preliminary discuss of the factors which influence the leadership and also the design patterns are also discussed under Chinese culture. Furthermore, combined with my practical work and experience, the practical application of leadership models is explained. Finally, according to above analysis, proposals of healthy development of the organization are given.The main conclusions of this paper are: Study-type organization is a flexible , high-performance organization with the characteristics of small power distance and high motivation of achievement, thus has great innovation ability and a significant competitive advantage; Research on learning organizations, researchers'consciousness, creativity, self- realization has been greatly improved, the focus of leadership should be to establish "people-oriented" core values, highlighting the respect for human beings; The choice of the leadership model should be combined with China's culture, social background, and should be expressed as an "occult" leadership model. This leadership model is more suitable for China's actual conditions.In the literature review, because of my limited knowledge ability and effort,this article has some shortcomings. Although the review focused on analyzing the transformational leadership model and transactional leadership models, the analysis of leadership patterns in the background of Chinese social culture was not enough; I tried to use case analysis as my research methods in the analysis, but it required further analysis and improvements, moreover some conclusions needed empirical researches. These deficiencies are need to be further strengthened in my future work and academic research.
