With the improvement of living standards, people need more and more fast moving consumer goods. Owing to customers who are scattered in wide area, product needs are more diverse and there is high frequency of consumption in business of fast moving consumer goods, so related products must have characteristics of diversity, flexibility, short cycle. To meet these fast and effective customer demands fast moving consumer goods, manufacturers often set up a plant which has multiple product lines near the market to be able to simultaneously produce different grades and different items of product. At the same time, to meet customer needs in different region, so the manufacture must establish certain number of plants. At present, the fast moving consumer goods industry have low barriers to entry and there are many competitors and potential competitors, so the market is highly competitive. In order to obtain more profits and capture greater market share, the enterprise group faced more critical cost competitive, in addition to the brand and service competition. The cost of fast moving consumer goods includes production cost and logistics cost. Therefore, how to reduce the maximum total cost per unit of product is the core concerns which enterprises pay close attentionThe cost of products in the supply chain is mainly from production and distribution system. In the case of deterministic demand, this paper studies the coordination of production and distribution planning problem in a two-stage supply chain from the perspective of system integration, and supply chain is comprised of multiple plants, multiple customers and multiple items. The main purpose of the study is to develop a rational and efficient strategy for the integrated production and distribution system, so as to formulate rational development of production planning, inventory planning and arranging distribution planning within its capabilities to meet customer needs, and achieve the minimum of the total cost. The coordination of production and distribution planning problem in a two-stage supply chain comprised of multiple plants, multiple customers and multiple items planning problem involves large-scale data, decision variables and more decision variables associated strongly. Therefore, before building a model, firstly we must deal with the idealized system. Secondly we should establish the appropriate integer programming model for the coordination of production and distribution planning problem according to the system assumptions. According to characteristics of the model solution, the method based on taboo search algorithm is put forward in the text. The detailed realization of the algorithm is illustrated. Finally, through several sets of simulation examples certificate the feasibility and effectiveness of this algorithm and the coordination of production and distribution planning reduces the more total cost than independence of production and distribution planning significantly...
