With the study of performance evaluation, EVA (Economic Value Added) asa new performance evaluation idex has been widely concerned, and it has alsobeen applied to performance assessment by SAC (State-owned AssetsSupervision and Administration Commission). EVA is not only an assessmentmethod, but also an advanced management concept. Therefore, EVA was used tostudy the assessment and management of CASC (China Aerospace Science andTechnology Corporation).The following was mainly studied after sorting out research status andlearning relevant theoretical knowledge about EVA.EVA was applied to performance assessment by CASC. Firstly, the Problemsand shortcomings existing in previously adopted methods of performanceassessment were analyzed. Secondly, the principle to implement EVA assessmentwas studied, and the implementation plan was designed. Thirdly, the method fordetermining EVA target value was analyzed, so is the method on appraisal valueof EVA calculation. In the end, the appraisal values of EVA in recent years wascalculated, and then compared with net profit after tax.EVA implementation and management of CASC were studied. The problemsof CASC to implement EVA were researched. To solve these problems, EVAimplementation and management system was established, and the systemincluded four parts such as concept, evaluation, management and excitation. Theconstruction of EVA concept was studed from corporate values, corporate culture,training assessment and communication, and so on. The incentive system basedon EVA was analyzed from bonus plan, annual salary system, stock options andcomprehensive excitation, and so on. The work of EVA management wasresearched from strategic plan, resource allocation, business combination andprogram budget, and so on. Finally, the EVA promotion strategy of CASC wasanalyzed.
