Research On Chinese Enterprises' Cross-border Merger And Acquisition Under The Background Of Global Economic Recovery

In the 1990s the world's fifth M&A wave, impel the Chinese enterprises after the reform and open policy willing to join the tide, go abroad and join the world market competition. As China's major mode of the foreign direct investment, cross-border M&A offer a broader vision and development space for the Chinese Enterprise, and also open a window for the world to understand Chinese.While, the financial crisis which erupts at the end of 2007, spread to the whole world quickly and caused a global economic shocks. Especially for the earthquake's epicenter -- European and American countries economy has been exposed a fatal blow, lots of old enterprise's assets being reduced, and to be collapsed or bankrupted. It provides a good purchase for our company at a lower price. Although at present the main economies have basically went out of crisis's bottom, and the global economic generally presents the recovery. Compares with the earlier period of the crisis, the current price of the assets has been raised, and the competition being more fierce day by day, the condition being harsher. For the situation of the world is not so bright, it maybe the last chance for the Chinese enterprise to go abroad to do the M&A.However, due to the development history is short, and the existence of the flaw of Chinese economic system, the attempt of the Chinese enterprise to manage the foreign company is not as successful as imagine. The success rate is very low, and Chinese company falls into a vicious circle of high investment and the low success ratio. Therefore, we hope through this research to give us a comprehensive, profound and the objective understanding with the Chinese enterprises transnational M&A.After the simple introduction of the the background and related literature, firstly, the article started at the situation of the Chinese enterprises'transnational M&A, and introduced the awkward situation of"the scale was big VS the success ratio was low"as well as the characteristic of our Chinese enterprise's M&A; secondly, summarized various of factors which influence enterprise M&A decision-making from two aspects (the actuation factor and the restriction factor); thirdly, through an empirical research, combine with the analysis of quantitative and qualitative, Analysis questionnaire result by using AHP, Integration and verify the weight of each decision factors. And to proof that the exists of the infuence of this crisis(economic recovery background), to Chinese Enterprise cross-border M&A decision-making; finally, aims to the various factors of enterprise attention degree and existing problems in the empirical results to put forward some suggestions for constructing a support system.
