The Empirical Study Of Service Cluster Development In Underdeveloped Regions In Western China

With the acceleration of economic globalization, the world's industrial structure has become the service model from the industrial model. Service had become the leading force of economic development and important measures to improve the quality of the national economy. The cluster as an industry organization can bring good economic effect. It is the trend and requirements of service development.Twelfth Five-Year Plan puts promoting the services to develop as strategic focus for the industrial structure optimization and upgrading, which brings new service opportunities for the development of service, making the service industry development China's economic agenda. Economy of underdeveloped western regions is backward, where development of service is slow. There are few studies about the cluster development of service. This paper based on economics with SPSS as the tool, with cluster the view analyzes services of underdeveloped areas in the west. Results of the research identified service the important status and increased awareness of the importance of service in the theory, and provide a theoretical basis for the formulation and government policy in practice, which promotes transformation of economic growth mode and regional competitiveness.Overall, the thesis can be summarized into three parts, of which the theoretical part is the first three chapters, the empirical analysis part is Chapter IV and V, the conclusion part is the final chapter. In the content system, the thesis is divided into six chapters:(1) The theory and development of service is Chapters I and II, which mainly expounds the theoretical basis and connotation of the service, pointing out its role in boosting economic development. (2) The service development and experience of developed countries in chapter III, that analyzes the process and development situation of Western countries, summarizes the rule of the western Service, providing experience for the western region. (3) Under the cluster view, Service Evaluation Index System and the selection of evaluation methods in Chapter IV. Learning from the past research of experts and scholars, the paper constructs the evaluation index system of the western underdeveloped region that describes develop conditions,economic efficiency and centralization, and selects the combining of Hierarchical analysis and Factor analysis as evaluation method.(4) Under the cluster persecution, empirical analysis, i.e., service in the western underdeveloped region in chapter V. According to stage of economic development and the present service situation, the paper comprehensively evaluates the Service, points out the reason for delay in various regions. (5) Problems and countermeasures of service development in western underdeveloped areas in Chapter VI. According to the existing problems in the development of service, the paper points out six policy recommendations, which include strengthening government macro-control, adjusting measures to local conditions services development, promoting the service clustering, attracting foreign investment, vigorously developing modern services and fostering capable talented person, providing the theory basis for the development of service trade in the western region.
