Research On The Industrial Structural Convergence Of West Coast Of The Straits

The strategy of building an economic zone on the west side of the Taiwan Straits,as one of central government's important strategies, is crucial for reunifying the motherland, national coordinated development and accelerating Fujian development.The whole economic zone on the west side of the Taiwan Straits will encounter a rare opportunity and how to catch it for faster development is what we have to consider now,especially for Fujian province as the leading part of this economic zone,although there are some obvious disadvantages in the economic zone.One of the key points is how to layout all kinds of industries in this economic zone.This paper makes its way to figure out advantages and disadvantages of this economic zone through the research on industrial structural convergence of West Coast of the Straits and to guide the rational industrial layout in the economic zone.After fully learning the history of West Coast of the Straits,this paper firstly tests and analyzes industrial structural convergence in the economic zone. Secondly,this paper continues to analyze the spacial characteristics about industrial structural convergence of the zone,then elaborate the effect resulting from the industrial structural convergence and disclose its influencing factors.Finally,this paper puts forward proposals and measures for the problem brought probably by the industrial structural convergence.
