In a high speed stage of development at the moment, the China motor vehicle industry is having on rise numbers in the inventory, output volume and sales and this has turned the scrap-motor-vehicle issue thereby emerging into a significant problem to discuss. As the domestic scrap-motor-vehicle recycling and disassembling industry started later than its oversea counterpart, it is now still at the primary phase, in which there are many unscientific and non-standardized handling for sure.ZS is a domestic company of scrap-motor-vehicle recycling and disassembling, who has the sole qualification to do this business all over Zhongshan. It has a history of more than 10 years which must have played a positive encouraging role in the cyclic utilization of scraps in Zhongshan. However, after investigation and survey, it's found that the company's business is also connecting with a lot of social responsibility problems, among which, environmental pollution and the harm on endangering public safety are the most prominent.This paper is to discuss the above issues with ZS's corporate social responsibility as the object of study. In its analysis, the paper develops investigation and survey especially in two core aspects: environmental protection and society public safety. Enlightenment to China's future development is therefore summarized from their operation mode.ChapterⅢBy visiting functional departments like the Zhongshan Traffic Police Division Vehicle Management Office, the Zhongshan Economic and Trade Bureau and the Guangdong Provisional Economic and Trade Commission, I probed deeply into the present situation of the scrap-motor-vehicle recycling and disassembling industry in Zhongshan. By launching questionnaires, I surveyed on the problems existing in ZS's corporate responsibility to the society during the course of its business as well as the reasons from which they occurred. The result of the questionnaires shows that the essential problems of ZS's corporate social responsibility are"environmental protection"and"society public safety". With understanding of that, I interviewed ZS's management staffs to dig out more details about its environmental protection problem and meanwhile I checked into its society public safety problem also by interviewing upper management of its parent company, the Zhongshan Fire Brigade, ZS's disassembling workers, motor cycles shops and staffs form the Zhongshan Traffic Police Division Vehicle Management Office.
