On Inspiration Of Japan's Strategic Trade Policy For China

After the second war, there have been changes in international trade. In the introspection for the traditional trade theory, the new theory of international trade gradually came to be. In 1980s, along with the development of the new theory of international trade, the strategic trade policy appeared in America. With the assumptions of scale economies and imperfect competition, the strategic trade policy uses industrial organization theory to analyze trade problems. Along with the globalization of economy and opening of the market, the strategic trade policy became universal. China, as a trading power, will choose the strategic trade policy absolutely.The article analyzes the strategic trade theory in detail and discusses its theoretical basis from the qualitative angle. The article focuses on the generation and development of Japanese strategic trade policy, analyzes reasons of its changes and its features, evaluates its effects briefly and predicts its future.
